When my son was
born, I had this grandiose idea like a lot of fathers that my son would be the
next great athlete. Certainly I could inject some of my athletic prowess
on him and he would fall in love with every sport, just like I did. That
didn’t happen. When I signed him up for cricket I saw all of these other
kids who seemingly loved the game. They would run around all game and chase the
ball endlessly. Mine was more content to slowly move around the field and
sometimes even sit on the sideline and not play at all. What was I doing wrong?
Maybe four years
old was too early to start?
It turns out that he
hated cricket and while I could tell that he had some athletic ability, he just
wasn’t ready. Fast forward two years and that kid that was playing in the
mud during his teams games is now the most dominant player in the entire
league. His teams haven’t lost in a year and a half and I can’t help but
think he is a major reason why.
What changed?
It wasn’t so much
a change in my attitude – I still wanted him to play sports – it was a change
in his. HE wanted to hit boundaries, HE wanted to catch the ball, HE
wanted to chase down the ball, and HE wanted to bat 24/7. HE’S obsessed,
but it’s nothing that I am forcing on him. HE’S the one that is forcing
it on us.
Look at his level
of talent now, I tried many coaches but they all offered the same advice “steady
head”, “stable base” but it just wasn’t working. Check out his scouting video,
we have had so many offers from professional teams to take him early and mould
him into possibly the best batsman in the world.
I thought this ebook was sketchy at first but it gave us an enormous amount of previously unknown information that has allowed my son to achieve such a high level of technique at such a young age. If coaches aren't working for you or your son try this ebook, I guarantee it's cheaper than any coach.
